Mae mynediad i’r ysgol yn amodol ar ‘Bolisi a Gweithdrefn Derbyn i Ysgolion’ yr Awdurdod Addysg Leol, y mae manylion amdanynt wedi’u cynnwys ar Wefan Wrecsam.
Mae disgyblion meithrin yn cael eu cofrestru ym mis Chwefror ar gyfer mynediad yn fis Medi. Mae disgyblion derbyn yn cael eu cofrestru ar gyfer mynediad yn y mis Tachwedd cyn y mis Medi y maent i fod i ddechrau.
Mae ffurflenni cais ar gael o wefan Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam.
Hawl i Addysg Gynnar: Mae hwn yn brosiect a ariennir gan y llywodraeth. Mae’n rhoi cyfle i ddysgu trwy hwyl a chwarae mewn amgylchedd diogel, sicr ac ysgogol. Mae disgyblion Hawl i addysg gynnar yn dechrau ysgol yn Ysgol Llanarmon D.C. ac Ysgol Cynddelw yn y Ionawr neu Ebrill, y tymor ar ôl eu penblwydd yn 3 oed. Mae’r dosbarth yn mynychu am ddwy awr a hanner o ddydd Llun i ddydd Iau.
Meithrin: Darperir addysg Feithrin am ddwy awr a hanner bob dydd o ddydd Llun i ddydd Gwener. Derbynnir plant i’r dosbarth meithrin yn y mis Medi yn dilyn eu trydydd penblwydd.
Derbyn: Derbynnir plant yn y mis Medi yn dilyn eu pedwerydd pen-blwydd.
Fel ffederasiwn o ysgolion rydym wedi arfer derbyn disgyblion ganol blwyddyn ac maent wedi eu hintegreiddio o fewn y grŵp oedran priodol.
Ymweld â’r ysgolion
Mae croeso i rieni ymweld â’r ysgolion. Mae’n well gwneud apwyntiadau i weld athrawon y tu allan i oriau ysgol oherwydd gallai ymweliad byrfyfyr amharu ar wers ddosbarth.
Darpar Rieni
Gwahoddir darpar rieni i gysylltu â’r ysgol i drefnu ymweliad yn ystod oriau ysgol, nid yn unig i weld y Pennaeth a’r staff, ond hefyd i flasu awyrgylch gwaith yr ysgol.
Admission to the school is subject to the Local Education Authority’s ‘Policy and Procedure for Admissions to Schools’, details of which are included on the Wrexham Website.
Nursery pupils are registered for admission in the February previous to the September they are due to start. Reception pupils are registered for admission in the November previous to the September they are due to start.
Application forms are available from the Wrexham County Borough Council website.
Early Entitlement: This is a government funded project. It provides an opportunity to learn by fun and play in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Early Entitlement pupils start school in Ysgol Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog and Ysgol Cynddelw in the January or April, the term after their 3rd birthday. The Early Entitlement class attend for two and a half hours from Monday to Thursday.
Nursery: Nursery education is provided for two and a half hours per day Monday to Friday. Children are admitted to Nursery in the September following their third birthday.
Reception: Children are admitted in the September following their fourth birthday.
As a federation of schools we are used to admitting pupils mid-year and they are integrated within the appropriate age group.
Visiting the schools
Parents are welcome to visit the schools. Appointments to see teachers are best made outside of school hours as an impromptu visit may disrupt a class lesson.
Prospective Parents
Prospective parents are invited to contact the school to arrange a visit during school hours, not only to see the Head and staff, but also to sample the working atmosphere of the school.
