Dear parents/Carers,
Due to the forecast of extremely high temperatures we would like to give you the option to collect your child(ren) from school at 1pm tomorrow, Thursday 25th June.
Temperatures tend to build throughout the school day, so an earlier collection time will help pupils avoid the hottest part of the afternoon in school. If you choose to collect your child early, this absence will be recorded as an exceptional circumstance.
For families who are unable to change their plans, please be assured that school will remain open as normal on the Thursday until 3.15pm. We have made the decision to CANCEL after school athletics club due to the high temperatures forecast. Therefore there will be NO AFTER SCHOOL CLUB Thursday 25/6/26. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, our pupils and staff health and wellbeing and safety is our priority.
To help pupils stay as comfortable as possible, we encourage pupils to wear light, loose fitting clothing to school or their PE kit. Please remember to send in their hats, sun cream and water bottles.

Mae’r tymheredd yn tueddu i gynyddu drwy gydol y diwrnod ysgol, felly bydd amser casglu cynharach yn helpu disgyblion i osgoi rhan boethaf y prynhawn yn yr ysgol. Os dewiswch gasglu eich plentyn yn gynnar, bydd yr absenoldeb hwn yn cael ei gofnodi fel amgylchiad eithriadol.
I deuluoedd sydd methu newid eu cynlluniau, mi fydd yr ysgol yn aros ar agor fel arfer ar y dydd Iau tan 3.15yp. Rydym wedi gwneud y penderfyniad i GANSLO clwb athletau ar ôl ysgol oherwydd y rhagolygon tymereddau uchel. Felly, NI FYDD CLWB AR ÔL YSGOL ddydd Iau 25/6/26. Ymddiheurwn am unrhyw anghyfleustra y gallai hyn ei achosi, iechyd a lles a diogelwch ein disgyblion a’n staff yw ein blaenoriaeth.
Er mwyn helpu disgyblion i aros mor gyfforddus â phosibl, rydym yn annog disgyblion i wisgo dillad ysgafn, llac i’r ysgol neu eu cit Ymarfer Corff. Cofiwch anfon eu hetiau, eli haul a photeli dŵr i mewn.
